Midwest Art History Society Membership
The membership is focused in the states that comprise the Midwestern United States, but residents of any state or country are welcome to join. The Society gathers once a year in the spring, for three days of scholarly presentations, panel discussions and workshops. Meetings are usually hosted by universities, colleges and museums, and the programs reflect the collaboration between these institutions.
As an Institutional Member, a college or university department or museum receives recognition as a sponsoring institution on the MAHS website, in the Annual Conference program, and in MAHS newsletters. For each institutional membership, one individual and in addition, a total of two students or curatorial assistants from the institution are entitled to full member benefits. Museums or campus galleries that are institutional members may submit their catalogs for consideration for the annual MAHS Outstanding Exhibition or Collections Catalog Award.
